Colorado Calder

It took but two years to become a cowboy. Now I just need a good pair of snakeskin or ostrich kickers.

The Trike

Ah, there is nothing like the feeling of the wind blowing through your hair.

Superstar Cora

Is it time for my close-up?

Not a Petting Zoo

Cora is just starting to enjoy the benefits of mountain living, a zoo in your yard. Boo deer, elk and foxes are our daily guests. Let's just hope that the bear and mountain lion stay away.

The Crawler

She's quiet, she's sneaky, she's mobile and she's gonna git you!

Story Time

Cora loves a good story, especially if it's a texture book. Me? It's all about the cars. Keep on reading daddy.

Loving the Camera

Try to catch the action Mommy, try to keep up!

Toy Time

Daddy and I are working in one of my favorite mediums, light. The ability to juxtapose the subtleties inherent in the tinting of acrylic and the visual chasm between daylight and dusk draws me to the tool.

Ah whatever. I dig the Lightbright.

Pink Lady

A well coordinated outfit for baby sister Cora assembled by Mommy. And all this just for a walk.

Drama Queen

Are girls more sensitive? Or are they just better actors?

The Silent Song

We practiced a Valentine's Day song at school to sing for our parents. When it came time to sing, we all seemed to lose our voices.

The Table Arrives

What could possibly come in a box that big? Mommy said something about Florence Knoll. Is it a picnic table? Are we going to eat in the driveway from now on?

Yummy Pears

Meme and Babo sent some very yummy pears to us. Cora is putting on a good show here, appearing to wait for the "go" sign from Mommy before tearing into the nectar.

Borrowing a Brotha's Bike

Cora was learning how to bring an attitude on my bike. From sweet to bad ass, I think she's got it down.

Calder's Tower

.... is falling down, falling down, falling down. Or as Babo says, "powie boomie!"

Hegel Visits

Christopher, Katy and Abby visited us when they were in town. We had lunch down by daddy's work and Christopher taught me some dope rendering skills.

Mommy and the kids

Mommy, Cora and I whooping it up! Another crazy night in Golden!

Sticker Crazy

Seriously, I can't come up with a caption crazy enough to match this photo.

A Clockwork Orange

Cora takes a cue from Stanley Kubrick with some post New Year celebratory accouterments.

Calder's Stool

Daddy and I take hikes in the backyard and like to take in the property from "Calder's Stool". It is a fine resting place during an afternoon jaunt in the snow.

The Art of the Snowball

I am learning how to make and strategically use winter's greatest offering, the snowball. Next I will be reading The Art of War.

Cora's Presents

Mommy got Cora a a ladybug wheeled toy and a hammer game. I guess there won't be any teasing this year, unless I want a hammer to the head.

Cora's First Birthday

Cora had cupcakes for her first birthday, and a trip to the zoo. We saw fish, zebras and daddy birds!
